SPEEDWAY SCHOOLS REGISTRATION
School registration will be in process at each individual school beginning July18. All Speedway Schools begin classes on August 2nd. Students who need to register should contact the appropriate school for registration information dates and times. All new students to Speedway Schools will need to provide proof of residency, a certified birth certificate, shot records, and school fees. Students enrolling at the high school should also provide a transcript.

The first day of school for all students is August 2nd. Elementary grades K-6 begin at 8:05 a.m. and dismiss at 2:50 p.m. The junior high students in grades 7 & 8 meet at 8:10 a.m. and dismiss at 3:25 p.m.† The high school consists of grades 9-12 and begins at 8:00 a.m. and dismisses at 3:20 p.m. except on Mondays which start at 8:50 a.m.† †
Registration for all students should be completed in July †in preparation for a successful school year. For more information about registering during the day contact the appropriate school. The School Town of Speedway is located on the west side of Indianapolis in the town of Speedway.† We are an urban school district on the fringe of a large city located in Marion County.†† The†school corporation†consists of four elementary schools (grades K-6), one junior high school (grades 7-8), and one high school (grades 9-12).† This year's enrollment is approximately 1700 students.
